Colt Python .357 Magnum 8” BRIGHT NICKEL Stunning – with Original Box

Description:
For sale is a stunning long-tube BRIGHT NICKEL Colt Python in the scarcer 8’’ from 1980 with the original box numbered to the gun. When all is said and done, I believe that there are fewer of these than the Nickel Target.  Please note the box has a lot of storage wear with tape repairs. The non label end is missing both the important side with the label is present.  There is some scattered fine pinprick spotting yet shows minimal collector type markings without all the hairline micro scratches so often seen on nickel guns.  There is no dulling, webbing, flaking, or high edge wear. Overall the finish rates 98%. The cylinder face, recoil shield, and forcing cone are completely clean. The action is crisp, the lock up is tight, and the bore is bright and shiny with strong lands and grooves. The factory target grips have sharp checkering throughout.  Will ship outside of factory box in microfiber cloth and sock to prevent any wear in transit.  Please view the photos here to evaluate the condition for yourself.  Recent GB comp sale shown as well.

Payment must be by bank certified (cashiers) check or Postal Money Order. Shipping & insurance by FedEx is $45 to eligible lower 47 states. Shipping to AK or HI will have additional costs for which buyer is responsible.  If eligible, I will need a copy of an FFL dealer license or C&R with copy of Driver’s License to ship the gun. There is a 3 day, no-shoot, no disassembly inspection period and the buyer is responsible for cost of shipping both ways if returned. If your FFL dealer will not accept shipment from an individual, I will need an additional $35 to ship through my FFL
