Colt Python, Shooter Grade, Cal. .357 Magnum, 1977 Vintage

Description:
Colt Python fitted with a 6-inch barrel with underlug and vent rib, checkered walnut grips with Colt medallions, serrated ramped front sight, adjustable rear sight, blue finished with nickel finished hammer, trigger, & cylinder release latch, and chambered in .357 Magnum. This 1977 vintage Python has been completely reblued due to what appears to having been poor storage, with some minor pitting under the reblue.  The nickel finished parts were apparantly refinished at the same time. The bore is bright, with sharp rifling. The action functions perfectly in double action mode, in single action when the hammer is slowly cocked it does not fully lock up on all 6 cylinders until the trigger is squeezed, bringing the hand up and rotating the cylinder until it locks in place.  Quick cocking in single action model it functions perfectly. Comes with a Colt box (no label), sorry, no paper-work.  If your are looking for a shooter Python, this would be it.
