Black powder frame Colt SAA with 5-1/2 inch round barrel chambered in 45 Colt with a very good bore. Overall metal appears to have been cleaned long ago. It is a light grey color with good traces of finish in protected areas. Nice functioning action. 107k serial range made in 1884. 3 notches carved in the left grip. Used in a Nevada Murder in 1932, this gun comes with a 3 ring binder full of research information including newspaper clippings, court records, filings and transcripts leading to a murder conviction. "Probably Saw Much Action In The Gold Camps Of Nevada" Think of the stories this old Colt could tell.
