"Serial number 303801. Made in 1907. 45 ACP caliber with a 7.5" barrel. This gun is in excellent condition as factory refinished. This gun has been converted to 45 ACP caliber, a 45 LC caliber will not go in the cylinder. This gun has spectacular two piece checkered ivory Diamond grips. This gun comes with a factory letter. It says this gun was shipped in 32-20 caliber with a 4.75" barrel configuration to Norvell Shapleigh Hardware Company on St. Louis in 1908. There is a six pointed star on the rear of the trigger guard bow, so this gun was returned for refinishing. There is a not a marking on the cylinder, but it does appear to be Colt factory work. Accompanying this gun is the factory letter, a previous owner’s write up of the gun and an
invoice where this gun was sold in 1958.
