1st Generation Colt Single Action Army

Description:
Colt 1st generation SAA revolver SN 199679, 38 W.C.F., 5-1/2" barrel, blue and case hardened finish, factory checkered hard rubber grips, as shipped to Simmons Hardware Co., St. Louis, MO, on Sept. 15, 100, in a 25 gun shipment, with copy of factory letter. Condition is about very good retaining approx 40% blue. Frame has toned a dark gray. Grips with mild general flattening to details. Axle pin has been replaced, and grip screw head has been re-colored. All visible matching serial numbers. Action is crisp and tight, bore is good.
