Colt Single Action Army Revolver; Serial No. REMOVED; Note: All Serial Numbers Have Been Removed; Based on the Style of Engraving and the Other Markings, This Gun was Likely Shipped Soft to a New York Dealer Between 1881 and 1885 as a .44/40 Caliber with 7 ½” Barrel; Ejector Housing, Rod and Head are Replacements; Barrel has Been Shortened; The Ejector Housing Screw Penetrates into the Bore of the Barrel; the Original Stocks Have been Replaced with a Nice Set of Checkered Wood Grips with Diamond Insets that Appear to be Ivory and Pearl; Good Action; Dark but Fair Bore; This Revolver Comes with a Nice Early Single-Loop Holster Marked “M.R.
