Antique Colt Single Action Army Revolver w/ Ivory Grips - SAA - MFG 1878
Description: This is a really nice early Colt Single Action that has very nice eye appeal. This Colt shows about 75-80% of the dealer applied nickel remaining. The reason many of these early Single Actions are found to be dealer nickel instead of factory as it was cheaper and more profitable for the dealers. The grip is fantastic and has a star someone scrimshawed during the period. Matching serial numbers are found throughout. The grips are unnumbered and I can't find a serial number on the cylinder although I'm confident in saying it's the original cylinder. Mechanically works excellent. This is a very nice example of an early Single Action that has that frontier appearance collectors really look for. Shipping is $25 plus actual insurance cost. Thank you!
