Colt 1873 SAA .44 Cal - 7 1/2" Barrel
Description: Very nice example of a 1st generation Colt 1873 SAA in .44 Caliber with original wood one piece grips & matching serial numbers. 5 digit serial number, possibly 1879 date of manufacture. 44 CF appears on the left top trigger guard Barrel is 7 1/2 inches Metal is pretty well aged and faded although all original and untouched. Action is in very good condition for the age, 4 clicks with no slop or movement of the hammer, timing is perfect, functions without any flaws or hooks ups. Bore is very good for a gun of this age and will make a fine shooter. Overall not much known about this gun, grips have not been removed to check for any inscriptions or notoriety, a Colt letter would settle the score.
