Colt First Generation Single Action Revolver in 45 Colt caliber

Description:
Offered is a First Generation Colt Single Action Revolver in 45 Colt caliber.  This is an intermediate Black Powder Model, s/n 115042.
The gun has a 5 1/2 " barrel. molder polymer grips with the Colt Logo above and the Eagle Crest and Shield below on both grip panels.
The gun is an early 1886 model that appears to heve been returned to the factory to have a shorter barrel (5 1/2") and reblued.  This accounts for the mixed serial numbers .  The serial number appears on the frame with different numbers (although from the same period) on the Trigger guard and butt plate. The number on the Trigger guard and Butt plate is 119142.  This commonly happened with factory reworks as they made no special effort not to mix these numbers.
There is a three line patent date stamped on the rilght side of the frame,  "K" stamped on the inside surface of the cylinder and "R" on the lovver edge of the butt plate.
The glun is in excellent condition retaining aprox. 80% of the reapplied reblued finish.  The cylinder shows a light turn mark and the trigger guard has some light corrosion arround both of the bottom screws behind the trigger.
