Very nice 1913 Colt SAA, 1st Generation. Serial number 325685. 7.5” barrel and Ivory Grips. Unaltered as far as I can tell, with the possible exception of the ivory grips (Colt letter says stocks "not listed"). Colt letter is included.
A one-gun shipment to Montgomery Ward in Chicago in 1913. Gun retains much of its high polish bluing. The finish on the front and back grip straps has thinned and browned some. Case colors are muted. Small spot of pitting on the front of the trigger guard. Bore is in great shape. The mechanics are tight and sound. The ivory grips have no chips. Barrel address die flaws match barrels on other guns from the same time period. Muzzle shows “feathering” around the front site, typical of the factory polishing process.
