FROM MY PERSONAL COLLECTION!!!
Colt Single Action Army; SN95685; originally shipped to U.S. Government July 20, 1883; p. 510 in Graham, Kopec, and Moores text,” A Study of the Colt Single Action Army” indicates that the state of Virginia was issued Calvary Models; instead of issuing to their militia, the state immediately traded them to New York City Arms Dealers; these guns were nickel plated, bbls. cut to 5”, grips varnished, and ‘U.S.’ on frame engraved over; I have personally seen several identically altered arms and believe this to be one of the traded Virginian U.S. Calvary guns; this gun retains most of the N.Y. applied nickel finish; all numbers match and all U.S. inspection’s marks intact; PERFECT action and EXCELLENT shiny bore; antique, no FFL/C&R required for shipping; All items shipped fully insured Priority Mail- -Hand guns $30 --Long guns $45-- Spurs $30-- Knives, Swords & Sabers $30—Grips $20; return policy: three days inspection from the date the item is received; full refund of shipping both ways ONLY IF THE ITEM IS MISREPRESENTED.
