Description: SOLD These old Texas shipped Colts are getting harder to find. This one is a factory engraved, .45 caliber revolver with a 4 3/4” barrel and smooth 2 piece ivory grips that fit well. This old Colt was refinished long ago but still has a great look. Serial number 209783 matches on the frame, triggerguard and backstrap. The letter shows that it shipped as a .45/c, 4 3/4” barrel, nickel finish ivory stocks with carved steer head motif (now missing), factory engraved shipped to Charles Hummel and Son in San Antonio, TX on June 11th, 1901 in a 1 gun shipment.
