Description:
Untouched, attic condition, Colt SAA with a nickel finish, 5 1/2" barrel, and original wood grips! The gun still has a nice amount of original nickel finish remaining, especially on the barrel and ejector housing. The gun has an "overrun" cylinder in it, which was left over from government contract revolver # x1652, and used on guns made for the civilian market, which is not uncommon in this serial range, and guaranteed original to the gun, when it left Colt's in 1882. (See "A Study of the Colt Single Action Army Revolver"), for reference. The wood grips are original to the gun as well, and fit perfectly. All factory markings are very nice and clear. Excellent mechanics, with a very good to excellent bore, with very little if any corrosion. Hard to find old Colt SAA's like this one that haven't been "messed" with in one way or another! Nice old black powder gun!! Please ask questions if desired. NO FFL required, unless the state you live in requires an FFL in order to receive it. USPS money order preferred and ships same day received. $35.00 shipping which includes insurance to the lower 48 states. Sorry, but, at this time NO sales to CA.
