COLT SAA "The Rodeo Clown" buntline...one of a kind


Description:
Colt SAA, “The Rodeo Clown” buntline, .45 lc, absolutely NIB with factory oak display case.  The model number is P1813Z with custom shop #4172.  Description from the box is:  S. A. Army – CP Design; 45lc., 12” bbl., Royal Blue & Gold Finish w/Ivory Stocks & Class “C” Master Engraving & Gold Inlay, with case.  The serial number is S.KAMYK-2.  

This beautiful revolver is known as “The Rodeo Clown” by the embellishment and by the inscription on the bottom/left side of the barrel.

A truly one-of-a-kind engraved by Colt Master Engraver, Steve Kamyk (see serial number).

A one owner revolver that I believe was purchased at a special Colt event during the Las Vegas Gun Show back in the upstairs days at the Sahara. 30 years ago?  Since its purchase it has been stored in the factory box!!  The attached Colt factory letter:  I have redacted the name and address of the original buyer for the purpose of this GI posting.  All information is on the "hard" copy of the letter!

Obviously a very desirable SAA destined for an advanced collector’s collection.
