This Colt was produced in 1994 and shipped in 1997. The pistol's serial number is S07343A. This Colt is chambered to shoot the 44 W.C.F. cartridge [44-40]. The barrel is the popular 4 3/4 inch "Cowboy Barrel." This Colt has a factory letter stating that Jan Gwinnell engraved this Colt with a class "C" Expert Level Scroll coverage. This Colt is new in it's original box. It has not been cocked or handled. The hammer is color cased finished. The screws are fire blued. The grips are original to this pistol. This pistol was shipped to Lew Horton In Westboro Massachusetts on June 12, 1997. Jan Gwinnell is a well known engraver for Colt's. His works are well done and admired by the Colt collectors and other engravers. This Colt is really stunning with the color cased hammer and fire blued screws as a contrast to the engraving! The photos do not do this pistol justice with this stunning engraving! This Colt would be a real standout in any fine collection!
