Colt 1861 Navy .36 Cal (C11842)

Description:

Colt 1861 Navy .36 caliber. All matching numbers including the grips. Bore has good strong rifling and has pitts in the grooves. Very good plus cylinder scene. Gun is very good overall. There is a groove cut in the bottom of the butt strap where there was an inscription. Some of the blue is original but the frame and cylinder are old professional refinishes. Difficult to say where the blue is original or refinished. In any case this is certainly a very handsome Colt. Great looking!
