Description:

Colt â„– 5 Texas Paterson. Early gun, serial number 35. Gun has square back cylinder and no loading rammer which is how the early guns were made. Barrel is reasonably sharp and has nice clear markings. All parts are numbered and are matching. Action works perfectly and locks up tight. Texas Paterson’s are the most desirable in Colt collecting and among the hardest to come by. While 1,000 were made the survival rate is not very high. These guns were popular in Texas among the rangers. Very hard to come by desirable Colt!
