Colt 1849 Pocket Model Revolver. .31 Caliber Percussion Revolver manufactured in 1861 with factory case and all accessories. This is a 5" barrel length, one line New York address. Excellent bore. Cylinder has all the safety pins intact. Cylinder scene is perfect. All numbers are matching including the wedge. Barrel has approximately 90-93% bright blue. Loading lever and frame have 90% vivid case colors. Grip straps and trigger guard have 98% original tarnished factory silver. Grips have excellent original varnish with some flaking on bottom of grip flats. This case is a correct case and factory original with excellent flask and Colt’s patent bullet mold. Scarce original packet of skin cartridges marked “for either Colt’s or Whitney’s revolving pocket pistol. Also comes with Eley’s Tin of percussion caps, case key and assorted lead balls. Note: Case lid has old repaired cracks on top. The case interior is wine colored original velvet. The lining and sections are intact.
