"Colt 1860 Army Civilian (AC248)

Description:
"Serial number 50287. Made in 1862. 44 caliber with an 8" barrel. Very nice scarce gun. This is a civilian model that is cut for shoulder stock. During this point of production almost all of the guns made were going to the military and of the few civilian models produced most of them had full recoil shields. This gun is in very fine condition with 30% of the original blue on the metal and a very pleasing dark gray patina. Cylinder has been cleaned, but enough of the serial number is readable to know this is an all matching gun. Grips are very fine. Very fine Colt 1860 Civilian army cut for shoulder stock!
