This circa 1867 31 caliber percussion Colt Model 1849 pocket six-shot revolver is in the condition collectors love to see. The 5"" octqgon barrel has a like new bore. The Colt bright blue finsih and case colors are 99%. The frame around the wedge has several small dents from improper removal of the wedge. The triggerguard and gripstrap have approx. 35% original tarnished silver. The backstrap is a pleasing brass patina. These later guns only had a single layer of silver plating so silver loss is very common. The cylinder scene is 100%. The grips are excellent with all their finish. The action functions correctly. This gun would look great cased!
