Rare Colt 1862 model â€œTrapper revolverâ€? (C12463)

Description:

Rare Colt 1862 model “Trapper revolver”. This is a factory special order altered 1862 of which as identical example is pictured in The Book of Colt Firearms by Sutherland and Wilson on page 174 2nd edition. Noted in the book that the rarity of the revolver is the fact that only 25 to 50 were estimated to have been made. We have owned another identically to this about 30 years ago. Gun has approximately 80% blue.
