7. Cased Factory Engraved Model 1860 Army Revolver, 8" barrel, SN 178,xxx with an 'E' . Engraved in a scarce pattern utilizing the American Scroll style with four fancy vacant shield type motifs on the barrel. Wolf's head hammer. Some fancy border motifs and intertwining geometric patterns. Most all engraving is crisp. Nice cylinder scene, original aged one-piece ivory grips have turned a pleasing yellow patina. Replacement wedge. A most attractive and interesting Colt housed in a very good case with maroon velvet interior. The case appears to be walnut. Accoutraements include a Capewell- Woodbury, Ct. flask in very nice condition, correct Colt 44 H mold, cap tin, case key and several round balls. This outfit has lots of eye-appeal! Antique
