Appears all matching except cylinder (#1615)
Percussion revolver
6" octagon barrel
Original walnut grips
Brass grip frame and trigger guard
Some traces of silver remaining
Has inspector marks on trigger guard "T" "G" & "K"
Majority of cylinder scene remains
Colt's patent on left side of frame
Barrel address is Saml Colt New York City Address
Action works and indexes
Serial number 25948
Fitted walnut case from period
Has correct Colt 1849 Pocket brass powder flask marked "E Pluribus Unum" along with crossed revolvers and American eagle
Brass Patent Colt bullet mold (for ball or conical bullets)
Spot for nipple wrench (not present)
Old tin container for nipples with 5 still present
Federal Civil War Union brass belt #418 (on backside), original brass keeper, leather is original with worm holes throughout but still intact
This ensemble came as a set from the family and has been in a single family since the Civil War
