Colt 1860 Army 4 screw Civil War 44 Cal 8” Barrel, this is a gray patina gun, Manufactured in Hartford Connecticut in 1861 on top of the barrel is a one line Colt address On the frame is stamped Colts Patent All matching serial number on the barrel, frame, trigger guard, back strap and cylinder the wedge has a different number cylinder has about 50% cylinder scene in working condition with one piece Walnut wood grips have a little repair on the top of the left grip. On the cylinder the serial numbers a little hard to see but you deftly can make out the last digit the barrel has a slight bulge in it comes with a factory letter shipped to United States War Department Capt. R. H. K.. Whiteley in Governor's Island New York on August 15, 1861 in a 500 gun shipment. Serial Number 8832 This Gun is “ANTIQUE” Ship right to your Door”
