Colt 1862 Police .36 caliber (C10396)

Description:

Colt 1862 Police .36 caliber revolver. Made in 1862. 6½” barrel. Gun has a gray to brown patina with trace amount of original blue. Barrel has a crack on the top that goes through to the inside of the barrel. This gun is NOT to be attempted to be fired under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. The grips are very good with normal handling wear. There is a slot made on the butt on each side of the grips presumable for a lanyard. Action works perfectly and locks up tight.
