Description: The Colt Army Model 1860 is a percussion cap & ball .44-caliber single-action revolver used during the American Civil War. Made by Colt's Manufacturing Company. It was used as a side arm by cavalry, infantry, artillery troops, and naval forces. Good condition, six shot, all parts intact, manufactured 1863, 8 inch barrel. The action is strong. The bore is in good condition with decent rifling. The grip is solid. The numbers match on the grip frame, trigger guard, metal heel of grip and frame. Percussion nipples all intact. Cylinder reasonably tight. Visable flame hardenting colors on hammer and trigger. No rust or corrosion anywhere. Grips are replacements.
