High Condition Colt Model 1851 Navy Revolver

Description:
This is a extremely nice Navy that for some reason on the left side of the barrel has lost its blue finish. How this happened, I am unsure. This would’ve been a hell of a nice Navy that would’ve retailed for over $10,000. This example retains approximately 60% of its original barrel blue. Approximately 95% original case hardened finish. Around 90% cylinder blue with an excellent cylinder scene. Backstrap and trigger guard retail approximately 70% silver wash. Grips are excellent with most original varnish visible. There is a period “XX” scratched into the trigger guard. All serial numbers match except the loading lever which is likely a factory mismatch as the condition matches the revolver perfectly. Period altered front dovetail sight. Mechanically excellent. This is a really nice Navy for the money as you are getting a little less condition but for half the value of what this gun would’ve been. Shipping is $25 plus actual insurance.
