Description:
#4992 Colt 1878 D/A, 7-1/2”x38WCF, 37xxx range (early 1898), fine action and bore, about an 8 on a scale of 10. Exterior has about 80% coverage of a 50% density plum blue-brown patina, mostly just dulling from surface grime and years of storage, but still having some good traces of bright blue in the more hidden areas. Grips are about Fine+ with only light wear and no chips or slivers, markings are fine, and the lanyard is intact. Overall this is a VERY desirable and quite scarce caliber double action that should clean even better with some soaking and light minor cleaning. About VG++ as described. $2750
