Look for the gold '55 Chevy road sign! ~Trades and offers are always considered~ M1873 Colt Single Action Army Revolver, Nickel Plated with Pearl Grips, .45 Colt, mfg. 1884 with 4 3/4" barrel. This is a classic Wild West era Colt accompanied by a fantastic set of authentic one-piece pearl grips. Overall the pistol retains 35%+ nickel finish which is at least period retailer applied however in my opinion is likely factory original. The remainder of the gun has turned a dark plum/chocolate patina with smooth surfaces and very sharp edges throughout. The pearl grips are finely finished and have an attractive vibrant color. They fit well around the triggerguard and butt yet are oversized along the backstrap. Not a perfect fit but certainly very presentable. Aside from an old repaired surface chip on the top left side the grips remain sound with no cracks. Matching serial number "109946" marked on the frame, backstrap, and triggerguard. Full original blade front sight with original hammer, cylinder pin, and ejector assembly with brass spring. The trigger and several screws are later albeit correct style replacements. Crystal clear original serial numbers, patent dates, caliber marking, and two-line barrel address. The action functions flawlessly and is super crisp and tight. Very nice bore with clean strong rifling front to back and only minor blackpowder frosting. Overall just a really sharp original Wild West Colt and a solid investment piece!
