Offered for sale for the first time ; A pair of collectable classic colt antique revolvers.  A COLT LIGHTNING and a COLT THUNDERER.  Have priced together as a deal but will separate if necessary.  Both are in original finish – unfooled with and in high condition. The THUNDERER .40 cal is collector quality and the pictures tell the story. It has bright shiny minty bore and a pair of exceptionally high quality genuine ivory grips that would make Billy The Kid green with envy. I have owned well over a dozen nice Lightning revolvers and only 2 Thunderers and these are getting hard to find indecent original condition.  The Lightning .38 cal has nice real pearl grips and though not quite as high case or blue finish condition as the Thunderer – still very collectable.  It also has a pristine like new bore.  They both have crisp tight actions that index and function perfectly on both single and double action. Ruth be known – the mechanics of the Colt lightning ‘models’ are just not as rugged as those on the SAAs – but they are much more scarce and boast of a historic following from old West lawmen and outlaws alike.
