The Colt Army Special chambered in .32-20 is a double-action revolver built on Colt's "E" frame (also known as the .41 or Official Police frame)
. Produced from 1908 to 1927, it features a 6-round capacity cylinder and available barrel lengths of 4, 5, or 6 inches. It has a blade front sight and a U-notch rear sight, a matte finish on the top strap to reduce glare, and Colt's "Positive Lock" firing pin block safety. The gun was available with blued or nickel-plated finishes and came in a variety of grips, such as rubber or checkered composites.
