Colt mod. 1855 Root Series 2
Description:
This is just a good honest series 2 Root 28 ca. made in 1856. The action is crisp. The cylinder scene is very good and the markings are very good. The finish is mainly a dark patina with a few traces of blue. The grips are the worst part about the gun. There is a large chip out of the right rear and a smaller one out of the front. A decent pair of grips would make this a good little gun. All numbers match. Edges are sharp and the screws are very good. Price includes priority mail shipping in CONUS.
