COLT Model 71-72 Open Top Revolver, 44 Rim Fire, Antique

Description:
Colt Open Top Revolver Model 71-72, .44 Rim Five, Serial Number 3531 Matching, Overall excellent Condition, Tight, Crisp action, Wood Grips,Excellent Cylinder Scene, Good percentage of original blue, Barrel has been sortened to 5" with a brass sight installed. There is a little roughness on the left side of the barrel as shown. Good Bore. This is not a Conversion it was manufactured this way by Colt. Grand Daddy to the SAA.. Many of these ended up in Mexico and the barrels were shortened there. If it had the original length barrel it would have a value in the 8 to 10 thousand dollar area. MO plus $25.00 shipping Antique no paper work required.
