Colt Open-Top Pocket Revolver 22 Caliber
Description:
Serial #57122, .22 RF, 2 3/8” barrel with a good bore that has minor freckling and pitting within the grooves. This is a nice little revolver that has an overall lightly pitted gray-brown patina on the barrel and cylinder that brightens a small amount at the high edges and projections. The brass frame has a fairly bright, yellow-ochre patina with scattered spots of freckling on both sides. The walnut grips are not numbered and have been lightly cleaned to remove the small handling marks and blemishes that were once present. Traces of the original nickel finish are still present on the interior of the gripstraps. The revolver lock-up is slightly loose, but the action is still fully functional. This is a nice little Open-Top and is in good plus condition overall. Antique
