Near Mint Antique Colt Single Action Army SAA Acid Etched Panel W/ Pearl Grips MFG 1879
Description:
This Colt Single Action Army is in overall very fine condition showing 93-94% Nickel finish with the rare and desireable Acid Etched Panel. The thick Mother of pearl grips are gorgeous. Serial number 52,0**. All matching numbers visible. I have not checked the grips. The action functions excellent. The etched panel is beautiful. Normally when you find this variation, the condition is worn, used and abused. This is not that, this is an absolutely stunning example and would be difficult to improve upon! Caliber is 44-40 and is propperly marked "44" on the barrel underside and on the trigger guard. This gun is mentioned in Cochran's Book "Colt Peacemaker Encyclopedia". This is one of the early Acid Etched Panel variations. a very rare Colt! Priced under what this would bring elsewhere! Dont misd your opportunity and wait to long!
Asking $11,500.00
