Scare & Rare Colt triple cased group of 3 Colt Percussion Revolvers with accoutrements in original time period case with key - 1851 Colt Navy Model Revolver, an 1849 Colt Pocket Model Revolver and an 1855 Colt Side hammer or Root Revolver in a period case. (A) Manufactured in 1870, the .36 caliber, 6-shot, 1851 Navy is SN 210094 which matches on the barrel, frame, trigger guard and back strap, with the last 4 digits on the cylinder being 7794. The barrel address and patent markings are sharp although partly obscured. The grips are oversized but in overall good condition. The cylinder scene is strong on 80% of the cylinder. The action is strong and the bore is very good. The wedge is also non matching (B) Manufactured in 1859 the .31 caliber, 5-shot, 1849 Pocket Model is SN 151998 and matches on the barrel, frame, wedge, trigger guard, back strap and cylinder. The barrel address and patent markings are clear and sharp. The cylinder scene is about 50% visible. The action needs minor adjustments the cylinder advances only intermittently. The bore is good. (C) Manufactured in 1863 the .31 caliber, 5-shot, 1855 is SN 7409 with the last three digits marked on the back of the cylinder. The factory applied markings are clear and readable. The action functions intermittently and needs adjustment. The frame, barrel and cylinder have a generous amount of blue remaining. The name "Y.M. Righter" is inscribed on the rear back strap. The case appears to have the same age as the guns and is very attractive. with time period key. Included are 3 time period hard to find powder flasks, 3 Colts Patent iron bullet molds consistent with the 3 caliber guns, 2 cap tins with contents, an oiler, screw driver, brass capper and a paper cartridge pack, all in very good condition consistent with the original time period. All items depict aging and patina consistent with the time period.
