"Exceptional Cased Set of New York Engraved Colt 1860 Armies w/ New Orlans Retailor (AH8183) DTX
Description:
"Serial number 123436 &123431. Made in 1863. 44 caliber with 8" barrels Both of these guns are identically “New York" engraved and silver plated. Each gun has approximately 90% -95% of the original silver plated finish. The grips are truly spectacular. Each grip is one piece carved checkered ivories with a eagle and shield. The eagle and shield is on each guns left hand side. The grips are thick and very sharply checkered. This pair is in an unusual dealer case. The case has nice accessories, most notably the silver plated Colt flask. The interior is original blue felt. The lid side has the label marked “H. Folsom & Co/ 56 St. Charles Street/ New Orleans" The outside of the case is finished in a black stain, or paint and has pearl overlay on the top. Absolute fantastic case pair of New York Engraved Colt 1860 Army Revolvers! (DALLAS LOCATION)
