Description:
This is an older Colt double action model Army Special, wih a 4 inch barrel in .38 special caliber. Revolver has remnants of factory nickel finish on frame. The rest is honest patina without pitting. Grips are original and without chips or cracks but showing some honest wear. Bore is good - chambers are excellent. This revolver is tight as the day it was made, and the quality is superb. With or without a proper refinish I would as soon have it as most any newly manufactured .38 Special revolver available today as the quality of this firearm is superb and indicative of Colt's workmanship early in the 20th Century.
