Colt Model 1902 New Army Revolver
Description: Serial #180583, .41 Colt, 6" barrel with a fine, bright bore that has a small amount of freckling within the grooves. The metal surfaces of this handsome, 1902-manufactured revolver retain about 80-85% of the original blue with some moderate silvering and fading along the high and projecting edges. Some handling marks are also present, and there are a few areas of pinprick pitting and specks of mild surface oxidation. The trigger still retains lots of original fire blue, while the hammer has thinning fire blue remaining along the spine, with light freckling on the otherwise bright sides. The checkered hard rubber factory grips are assembly numbered to the gun and they rate near excellent with only a few handling marks, and some flattening of the points. There is a factory rework mark on the cylinder under the extractor, and the action is fully functional, with a good lock-up. This is a fine example of a Model 1902 Colt overall.
