The backstrap, cylinder, barrel, frame and trigger guard are engraved with all the historic ranch brands of the founding members of the Texas Cattleman Association. This is a unique piece of texas history.
NOTE: Both the Gold Plated Commerative Colt and Winchester 94 can be had for $5,400.
A Brief History of Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association
Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association was founded by 40 cattlemen in 1877 in Graham, Texas, under the name of the Stock-Raisers' Association of North-West Texas. These cattlemen created the association to fight cattle theft in the region.
In 1893, cattlemen dropped the regional name for the more appropriate title—Cattle Raisers Association of Texas. In so doing, it brought in cattlemen from other small, regional associations to strengthen the original northwest group.
In March 1921, the cattlemen adopted the name of TSCRA when the association merged with Panhandle and Southwestern Stockmen's Association, a group formed in 1880 by Charles Goodnight to protect the Texas Panhandle during the days of the big trail fights. The bigger, stronger association boasted members from throughout the southwestern United States, as well as from Mexico, Haiti, New York, Michigan and other outlying states. Today, TSCRA has more than 15,000 members ranching in Texas, Oklahoma and surrounding states.

The firearms offered have NOT been TEST FIRED unless otherwise stated, but have been given a visual inspection for sale purposes only. It is recommended that buyers have all firearms inspected by a competent gunsmith prior to use.
A valid FFL is required for most transactions, valid C&R licenses are accepted for qualifying items. Buyers will be charged for shipping costs to an authorized FFL dealer (direct shipping for C&Rs), and will receive a copy of my FFL with the shipment. Shipping is not offered to locations outside of the United States.
Accepted forms of payment are charge/debit cards (Visa & Master Card preferred), cash (Wire Transfer), money order (Preferably USPS), Cashiers/Teller/Certified Check or personal check (Item is held for up to 10 business days to allow ANY checks or money orders (except USPS) to clear). A 3% service charge will be added to purchases made with charge/debit cards. Layaway is not offered.
