A nice Colt Bisley in 45 Colt that was shipped in a two gun shipment to Albert Steinfeld & Company Tucson, Arizona Territory on July 12, 1907. The Colt SAA Bisley, orignally designed as a target version of the Colt Single Action Army and named after the famous shooting range in England was very popular in the Southwest and Mexico.
The gun has a 4 3/4" barrel with a very clean bore and chambers.
The gun is in original condition showing wear as it was used.
Mechanically the gun is very nice shape retaining all four clicks and the action works as it should.
The grips fit the gun perfectly and are numbered to the gun. The right grip has several small chips on the bottom as shown in the picture.
The guns shoots to POA which is unusual for many of the old Colt SAAs. It also has the smokeless powder proof from Colt.
This gun is ready for your collection or to shoot if you wish.
