Description:
This is a good condition Colt Cobra 1st issue DA/SA revolver in .38 S&W Special. The Colt Cobra 1st issue production ran from 1950 to 1972. This example was produced in 1971, though the 2nd issue ran to 1981. The Cobra is a lightweight, aluminum framed, short barreled, 6 shot revolver, much like the Detective model it resembles. The blued frame, barrel and cylinder are good, with some surface rust on those surfaces. The blued 2" barrel is very good with sharp clear rifling in its bore. The factory silver medallion checkered dark walnut hand grips are good. The factory curved grooved DA/SA trigger is Colt smooth. Though there are some finish blemishes, this Colt Cobra is still a shooter and part of Colt history. This Cobra comes with a non factory brown cardboard box. .38 S&W Special
