Here we present a C&R Colt “Cobra” Snub Nose Double Action Revolver, made in 1964 by the Colt Manufacturing Company in Hartford, Connecticut. It holds six shots of ammunition and was sold by Colt from 1950 until 1981 and was popular with civilians and law enforcement.

This revolver is very light with the aluminum frame. Six-shot cylinder. Glossy black finish. The trademark rampant Colt is crisp. Colt medallions in the checkered wooden grips. “LW” suffix to the serial number.

The overall condition is fine. Original finish. Sharp markings. The grips are nicely checkered and solid, showing hardly any wear. The action is excellent. The bore is shiny bright with sharp rifling. The numbers match. Faint initials in the grip frame.
