This is an unusual pocket 1849 Pocket model. The 6"" barrel is not marked with an address and the barrel lug is not serialized and never have been. This is an excellent '49 with matching serials the on backstrap, trigger guard, and frame. The cylinder scene is excellent and 100% clear. The frame has vivid and beautiful case colors, bore is excellent. Loading lever is unnumbered but has 100% vivid case colors. Grips are excellent with 100% original varnish. The action works perfectly. Somehow this really fine '49 got out of the factory with an unmarked barrel. Under any other scenario this would be a $5,000 revolver, with the situation above we are pricing this pistol at a very reasonable $2,500.
