This revolver commemorates the life and heroic military service of Confederate General John Bell Hood, a graduate of West Point, who after fighting in battles at Peninsula Campaign, Second Battle of Bull Run, Fredericksburg and Chickamauga was promoted to the rank of General and given independent command over the Army if Tennessee.
