Colt John Wayne Commemorative chambered in .45 long Colt is in very good condition. It comes with a Colt letter that explains that this is the same model 45 Colt carried by the "Duke". The letter also explains how to care for and the properties of Ivory grips. It has a blued barrel, frame, and cylinder. On the left side of the barrel there is a golden eagle holding a banner that spells out "John Wayne". On the left side of the cylinder there is a golden portrait of John Wayne and a small floral engraving on the frame. On the right side of the barrel there is a floral engraving and golden inlay. The right side of the cylinder has John Wayne riding a horse and the frame has more of the floral engravings. On the backstrap there is a "D" with 2 wavy lines under it and further down is John Wayne's signature in the same golden inlay. The wooden display case that comes with this firearm has a plaque inside that says "Colt John Wayne Commemorative" and has the same floral engravings around it as the firearm. The display case comes with an ornate key and has John Wayne's signature one the bottom right of the lid. .45 Colt
