Cased High Condition 96% Colt Model 1862 Police Cartridge Conversion
Description:
Cased High Condition Colt Model 1862 Police Cartridge Conversion. Extremely rare long barrel with fluted cylinder variation. This Colt shows 96% original nickel finish. The grip shows all of the original factory varnish. Serial number 1,8**. Screws show original fire blue finish. The case is absolutely authentic, although I don't believe its the original case that this Colt left the factory with because it has a bit of a tight fit. Bore is bright and appears unfired. The edge of the cylinder shows a tiny bit of edge nickel loss, that is what is keeping this gun from going up higher on the percentage rating scale. Mechanically this Colt functions like brand new. I don't believe this example could be improved upon. Shipping is $30 plus actual insurance. Payment is due within 7 days. Feel free to ask questions or for more photographs if needed, Thank You!
Asking: $8,500.00
