Description:
Colt 1860 Army Revolver, Richards Conversion With Iron Trigger Guard Single Action patent dates #5370
This gun is one of approximately 9000 ever made. What makes this gun very rare is that it has the single action patent date where most guns have the Colt's patent and the iron trigger guared. Serial number 5370 on all parts. This gun is really one of the first Single Action Colt's ever made. 8" barrel. This revolver has the July patent dates , the frist 25 single action Colts had these same Patent dates . This gun is in execellent workable condition. Traces of the original blue. Very rare and good looking Colt. Some company years ago came out with a service to trace these old guns , my Daddy had these number traced , the report said that 1 number difference in this gun was shipped to Fort Hays , Kansas . Usually these weapons were shipped 100 at a time .
