Description:
Colt Detective Special 38 spl. This Colt was made in 1928 serial 356137 (second year). I believe this was a special order Detective Special because the round butt was not a production standard until 1933. This was noted in the The History of Colt Revolvers 1940 edition by Charles Haven and Frank Belden. This is a C & R eligible Colt.
