Description: 1952 Colt Detective Special wearing the stunning factory original Duo-Tone Blue finish, sporting the sought after 2" barrel, Iconic 38 Special Cartridge and a set of factory original "Double Screw" brown checkered Coltwood grips in excellent condition. The pistol comes as shown in the factory original Colt hinged box with original "Shooting Suggestions" pamphlet, original Gold end label and serial number written on the back of the box. According to our research she was built in 1952 wearing serial number 610380. In our opinion this Beautiful firearm is in Collector Grade condition with no signs of consumer firing since it left the factory in 1952 and showing only the slightest of handling marks on the right side of the barrel.
